There's really not
much to say about this device besides... what a very cool device.
Sometimes simplicity wins and the P90 GameCon does just that. By
easily pairing this device to our PS3, we were ready to test it with
our colleagues and enemies on Call of Duty: Black Ops. It was so
much easier than connecting our wired headset with all its cords and
tangles.

In essence, the P90
GameCon Wireless Gaming Bluetooth Headset (phew) allows you to
easily chat to people over the PlayStation Network. Even though I
have a wired headphone with a microphone for my PlayStation 3, the
P90 GameCon works by simply putting it on your ear and then turning
it on. It's that easy and no more cords. Best of all, the device is
extremely comfortable and I didn't even know I was wearing it for
the majority of time.
To charge the
device, you can simply connect it to your PS3 and presto, it was
charged, thanks to its high-speed charging technology. But even if
you don't own a PS3, the P90 GameCon can be used with any device
that uses Bluetooth such as a laptop, Apple iPhone or even a mobile
phone. Setting up is as simple as the PS3, you simply "pair" the
device to your intended Bluetooth device and "Shazam!", it's
connected.
The device also
tells you when it has to be charged by beeping at you 5 times and
changing the LED to red. Other lights on the device include blue for
chat and purple for a missed call. As the device is Bluetooth
compatible, it has a range from around 30 feet but I really doubt
you need that distance when using it on any Bluetooth device, let
alone the PlayStation 3... unless you are having a toilet break.
What a great product
to be released at the end 2010 and if you're in the market for a
quality Bluetooth headset for not only your PS3 but all Bluetooth
devices, than you really cannot go pass this device. Highly
Recommended!
