KontrolFreek has created two new products to assist gamers in increasing there skills in certain genre games. These products are suited to fit both the PS3 and XBOX 360 controllers. Both products are joystick extensions built to increase control. Let’s see how they measure up. I spent 6 hours with each product.

FPSFREEK- This one was made to increase accuracy of movement and aiming by extending the length of the joystick. It is comfortable to use and fits your thumbs just right. I can honestly say that they do allow more fluid controlled motion. My accuracy did increase and my movement became much smoother overall. However, while the height does increase accuracy you lose mobility on your controller. The long joysticks make it hard to reach certain buttons quickly and others you have to move your entire hand just to reach. So you sacrifice thumb mobility for improved accuracy. Over time you could develop a way around this. Whether it is worth it is up to you. I will say that these joysticks do accomplish what they claim.
