SYDNEY, 11 June, 2010: Konami Digital Entertainment GmbH has revealed the KONAMI Soccer Kit Collection to offer Xbox LIVE® online entertainment network users the chance to dress their on-screen avatar in their National side’s football fan wear this season.

Konami is releasing a number of football items, which users can use to dress their Avatar in time for the football season. Users can download officially licensed football  kits and team wear for the Australian, New Zealand, Brazilian, Dutch, French, English, Spanish, German, and Italian national sides, which will then appear as a clothing option within the Avatar menu. Similarly, there will also be a selection of additional themed items including animated balls and banners as well as fan hats and caps – each available in the user’s chosen national colours.

The KONAMI Soccer Kit Collection will be available from June 11th, with costs varying from 240 Microsoft Points for a shirt, and 320 Microsoft Points for balls and additional items. It will be promoted by Microsoft in their summer of football campaign.

This exhibition explores how the Kurdish culture has survived through adversity, invasion, and division of the Kurds’ traditional lands. A variety of objects on display include traditional costumes, instruments, hand-made carpets, hand-woven crafts and pewter ware.

Honouring our Ancestors: Remembering East Timor

This exhibition explores a ritual called Se Matebian, which takes place each year on All Souls Day and honours East Timorese ancestors. It looks at how the East Timorese community in Australia continue to practise this ritual today. Personal stories and reflections of people from the East Timorese community are shared and featured objects include a silver breast plate and head piece worn by elders during ceremonial peace, a silver jewellery box with an ancestral worship home on top, jewellery associated with ancestors, timber statues representing ancestors, hand woven baskets and East Timorese fabrics.

“We thought we could have a lot of fun making a Rock Band game and highlight different times in our career, since we’re using so many songs,” said Mike Dirnt, bassist for Green Day. “We just thought it was a cool way to show people something different.”
 
“There will be some people who know every single song on the disc, which is awesome,” said Tré Cool, Green Day’s drummer. “But for those who don’t, it’s a great way to discover some of the older material.”

Green Day: Rock Band features 47 on disc songs, including Dookie and American Idiot, as well as the entirety of 21st Century Breakdown, with the added support of six previously released downloadable songs for Rock Band™ and Rock Band™2. The game takes place in three unique venues that capture the raw energy from Green Day’s early punk years to the explosive arena shows that the band is known for all over the world.

Here´s new update for iPhone game Footballz! FIFA World Cup in South Africa will start really soon and on this occasion there is new “Africa” update. It brings three brand new levels and one new savanna background, which is typical exactly for the Africa. But that´s not everything…

KOŠICE, Slovakia – 10.6.2010 – Company Inlogic Software just announced new update for iPhone / iPod Touch game called “Footballz!”. In a new version 1.2 you can find three brand new levels and one new savannah background, which you can see on attached pictures. Collision and spawning of enemy balls were improved, so now the enemy balls are falling from the sky, instead of simply appearing. It definitely looks better and it helps player to note the new enemy balls better. Also, there are new instructions for a better understanding of the game´s principle. Finally there are few minor graphic changes.
