Wargaming.net Presents Self-Propelled Guns in New Gameplay Trailer

Wargaming.net® announces the release of a new gameplay trailer for its highly-anticipated massively multiplayer online game World of Tanks.

World of Tanks latest video shows a completely different gameplay focusing on the actions of artillery units in battle. The trailer demonstrates the whole variety of SPGs’ tactics and highlights characteristics of the most prominent German and Soviet SPGs such as Hummel and SU-14.  

Self-propelled guns support their teams with fire cover and are capable of engaging the enemy units on the opposite side of the battlefield. In cooperation with light tanks artillery vehicles can be a real threat even to the heaviest rivals like Maus or IS-7. Though being very vulnerable to maneuverable light and medium tanks, SPGs can annihilate any counterpart at short distance by using direct fire.

KONAMI unleashes the hordes as Ninety-Nine Nights II releases today

Publisher confirms dates and forthcoming DLC for new action title September 10th, 2010

SYDNEY, 13 September, 2010: Konami Digital Entertainment GMbH today released its Ninety-Nine Nights II title for Xbox 360, and also confirmed that exclusive DLC for the title will be released later that month.

Set on a ravaged world, Ninety-Nine Nights II invites the player to take on all comers in a series of spectacular battles – or join forces with their peers via the game’s online options. Players can enjoy the story from five different perspectives – including humans, elves and goblins – and are pitted against wave after wave of adversaries in the ultimate ‘last man standing’ free-for-all. Each of the species is given a specific back-story which unfolds as the game progresses, while the various races also bring unique skills and abilities to the battle field.

At its heart, Ninety-Nine Nights II is a vast combat title, with hundreds of enemy creatures on screen simultaneously. As the camera picks over the action, the player can use a wealth of easily-effected combo attacks to carve a path through the enemy, and also use whatever skills and items are available. At the end of each skirmish, players will then face a ‘Titanic Boss Battle’ against the champion of their current adversary, with players forced to move quickly and locate the well hidden weak spots of a seemingly unstoppable behemoth.

Following the game’s September release, there will be three download packs available. The first will be released at the end of September and offers new maps, called Aerial and Guard maps in online modes for just 320 MS Points for Gold membership members. A free download will follow in October, unlocking a new character for online use for Gold membership members as well, while an Equipment pack adding stronger weapons for all characters for use both on and offline will be released in November for just 40 MS Points, for both Gold and Silver membership members.

KONAMI has also confirmed a downloadable demo is also now available for free via Xbox Live® Marketplace.

Ubisoft® ANNOUNCES Beta DETAILS FOR ASSASSINS CREED BROTHERHOOD

Sydney, Australia — September 10, 2010 — Today Ubisoft® announced that as of October 4th 2010, the Assassin’s Creed Brotherhood Multiplayer beta will be accessible exclusively on PS3TM to anyone that pre-ordered the game in standard, Auditore or Codex edition.

In the Multiplayer beta, players will have the opportunity to choose from nine different characters such as the doctor, the priest, the executioner or the courtesan, try their unique deadly weapons and discover their signature moves.

Up to eight players simultaneously will be able to use new ways to assassinate their targets in two different modes:

– Wanted – challenges players to get the higher score by killing their assigned targets and escaping their hunters in clever ways.

– Alliance – allows players to compete cooperatively in teams of two, fulfill contracts and confuse enemies in tandem.

Both modes will be playable on two different maps located in Rome and Castel Gandolfo.

Assassin’s Creed Brotherhood is scheduled to release on November 18th 2010 on Xbox 360 and PS3. It will be available on PC in Q1 2011.
