Kobo to be Pre-loaded on New BlackBerry PlayBook

September 30, 2010 – BlackBerry DEVCON 2010, San Francisco, CA – Kobo, a global eReading service, today announced plans for its application to be preloaded on the BlackBerry® PlaybookTM tablet, giving users easy access to the Koko experience including Kobo’s store of more than 2.2 million books.

Earlier this week, Kobo also announced plans for an industry-first social eReading application that will leverage the new BBMTM (BlackBerry® Messenger) Social Platform.

Call of Duty(R): Black Ops Co-Op to Include Zombies

Sydney: Taking the wraps off one of the most anticipated features and worst kept secrets, Treyarch revealed today that the community-favourite “Zombies” is coming to Call of Duty(R): Black Ops which hits stores worldwide on November 9th, by Activision Publishing, Inc. (Nasdaq: ATVI). Zombies were originally introduced in Call of Duty(R): World at War and became an instant hit. Call of Duty: Black Ops fans can combat the zombie apocalypse in up to four-player co-op gameplay.

“Zombies have been such a hit with our community that we were committed to bringing brand new zombie experiences to Call of Duty: Black Ops,” says Treyarch Studio Head, Mark Lamia. “We’ve taken extra special care to retain the essential ingredients of our Zombie game, and have also crafted a nice surprise for the fans.”
