Remarkable Milestone Achieved in Just 2 Months since Its Release in September

Tokyo, November 30, 2010 – Sony Computer Entertainment Inc. (SCEI) today announced that the sales of PlayStation®Move motion controller for the PlayStation®3 (PS3®) computer entertainment system reached over 4.1 million units worldwide^*1.  The milestone was reached in just 2 months since its release in September for North America, Europe/PAL territories and Asia, and 1 month since the release in October for Japan.  The number not only shows clear success of the launch of the new motion sensing controller but also indicates positive momentum going in to the holiday season and to the year 2011. 

PlayStation Move motion controller is used in combination with the PlayStation®Eye camera^*2 to detect the precise movement, angle, and absolute position in 3D space of the user, thereby allowing users to intuitively play as if they are within the game.  Delivering the most realistic and immersive experience, PlayStation Move not only captures user’s motion but also player’s image itself to offer new augmented reality experiences in select games.

EVE ONLINE: INCURSION 1.0.0 RELEASED

First Release for 14th free expansion includes myriad changes

Reykavik, Iceland – November 30, 2010 – CCP, one of the world’s leading independent game developers, today launches the first portion of this winter’s EVE Online: Incursion expansion for EVE Online, recent winner of the Game Developer’s Choice Award for Best Live Game of 2010.

The November 30th release, Incursion 1.0.0, is first in a multi-part release for one of the most ambitious EVE expansions to date. It includes a long list of changes, many of which were prioritized and added with the help of the Council of Stellar Management, a representative group of EVE players elected by the playerbase to interact on their behalf with the CCP development team since 2008.

Changes in Incursion 1.0.0 span the breadth of EVE, from the addition of over 80 new storyline missions and the Noctis salvaging ship to rebalancing rockets and Tech 2 ammo. The update also includes improvements to EVE’s user interface (UI) based on player feedback, which should make the lives of all pilots a little easier, whether in a new frigate or contributing to the industrial might of their thousand-player alliance. CCP recently launched the Incursion feature site (www.eveonline.com/incursion), which will be updated frequently throughout the next two months with video interviews, art assets and more information about the expansion. It also features the Incursion trailer, which shows an amazing, in-engine glimpse at our avatar technology and the future of EVE in the character of Sansha Kuvakei, leader of Sansha’s Nation.

Incursion 1.0.1 will be available on December 14th and will couple the removal of learning skills with another holiday gift for EVE players.

Incursion 1.0.2 will be available mid-January and includes the stunningly realistic character creator based on CCP’s avatar technology, a precursor to next year’s “Incarna” release. The web-based social networking platform for EVE players, EVEGate, will see a large upgrade with integrated forums. The Planetary Interaction feature will also see significant improvements based on player input. The following week, a vengeance-fueled Sansha’s Nation will invade the EVE universe, causing chaos as pilots join together in twenty to forty person fleets to beat back the new “Revenant” supercarriers, their fierce fighter bombers and the fleets at their command. Victors against these “incursions” will reap tremendous rewards for their bravery.

KARI-GURASHI no ARRIETTY spent 11 of its 15 weeks in the Kogyo Tsushinsha Japanese box-office charts residing in the top 10, and since its premiere on July 11, had grossed in excess U.S. $110 million at the end of its theatrical run.

AUSTRALIA, 25.11.2010 – The feature packed Princess Coronation set is a must have for anyone with a taste for the romance of rail.

Conceived by the office of Sir William A. Stanier, FRS, the Princess Coronation is a classic example of British engineering at its finest. In the heated rivalry remembered as “the race to the north”, these magnificent machines were devised to speed the LMS “Coronation Scot” service in competition with the LNER’s Flying Scotsman for London-Scotland traffic. Capable of delivering over 3000hp the “Big Lizzys” were a formidable match for Gresley’s A4.

The first 10 locos of the class were built with a streamlined cladding colloquially referred to as an upside down bathtub. Due to the added weight and maintenance difficulties the streamlining proved unviable and it was later removed revealing a locomotive of very handsome lines.

The remaining 28 locos were built without streamlining and the class became commonly known as “Duchesses”. From 1945 smoke deflectors were fitted to help with smoke obscuring the crew’s forward vision, giving them the distinctive final appearance that became so popular with observers.

The LMS Princess Coronation pack is a high quality depiction of the class in LMS crimson and BR green liveries in unstreamlined guise as it appeared in latter years of service.
