ROBIN HOBB THE INHERITANCE

With a career spanning over two decades, Robin Hobb has risen to the top of the fantasy genre globally. Her name, adorning bookshelves everywhere, has become synonymous with compelling, epic fantasy fiction.

In the early chapter of her career, she established herself as an author under the name ‘Megan Lindholm’. In 1992, she decided to embark on fictional narratives of greater epic scope. To mirror that shift in direction, she chose a new name, ‘Robin Hobb’, under which she has written a stream of bestselling fantasy trilogies, including The Rain Wild Chronicles, Soldier Son Trilogy, The Tawny Man Trilogy, Liveship Traders Trilogy and The Farseer Trilogy

In The Inheritance, the short stories of both Robin Hobb and Megan Lindholm are brought together in one superb collection.

‘I feel the two pseudonyms have very different styles and choose different types of stories to tell. Whenever I get a story idea, I know immediately if it will be a Lindholm or a Hobb,’ said Robin. ‘When I am writing as Hobb, I tend to be more detailed and emotional.’
