THE BRAIN THAT CHANGES ITSELFFor the past 400 years we have thought of the human brain as a machine: a hard-wired instrument incapable of fundamental change. “You’re stuck with what you’re born with,” we thought. Well… we were wrong. The brain can change its own structure and function through thought and activity. This is nothing less than a scientific revolution, a major paradigm shift, a revolution of thought. Showing the brain as fluid rather than hardwired, bestselling author, psychiatrist and researcher Dr. Norman Doidge introduces us to both the brilliant scientists championing this frontier science and the astonishing progress of people whose lives have been saved and transformed because of it. A profound documentary based on the bestselling book of the same name. Release date: 1st June, 2011 |

In honour of the 70th birthday of HM Queen Margrethe II, a television crew was given exclusive access to the Royal Family’s innermost circles for a year. Filming only the “unofficial” moments of the Royal Family and their staff at work – from talking tactics before a press conference to planning a state visit to Vietnam, as well as Crown Prince Frederik collecting his two children from daycare, this is an exclusive, insightful “behind-the-scenes” portrait of the Danish Royal Family. HELL OF THE NORTHSince 1896, professional cyclists have competed in the annual race from Paris to Roubaix – over 50-plus kilometers of slippery, bone-jarring cobblestones. Known as “The Hell of The North”, this term was used to describe the race when it was run immediately following the end of WW1, as it closely followed the front lines of the war in the North of France, and hence passed through many of the ruins, craters, and destruction along the way. This documentary takes the viewer along the cobbles of the north of France from the perspective of the 2007 Australian winner, Stuart O’Grady, and other legends who have played a part in the 115 year history at the HELL OF THE NORTH.
