World of Tanks Update 6.5 Rolls Out

American Tank Destroyers Show Up

London, UK and San Francisco, CA (29th June, 2011) — Wargaming.net is glad to announce that the Update 6.5 for their worldwide recognized World of Tanks action MMO will be released on June 30. Along with two new maps – Redshire that depicts a traditional British settlement, and Arctic Region, the very first purely winter location – the update will feature the highly-anticipated American tank destroyers line, including the T95 superheavy monster.

Apart from the advanced US tree, Update 6.5 will bring up two premium light tanks – the American M22 Locust and the Russian T-127.

One of the most significant changes Update 6.5 will carry is replacing the M26 Pershing with the M46 Patton, which will become the first step towards global tech trees revision.

“We constantly keep polishing the game balance, and updating World of Tanks to 6.5 is yet another important step in this direction,” said Wargaming.net CEO Victor Kislyi. “That’s just the first of the two American TDs branches we’ll be implementing, so we will bring even more strategic satisfaction to our players in the nearest future.”

World of Tanks is the first and only team-based massively multiplayer online action game dedicated to armored warfare. Throw yourself into the epic tank battles of World War II with other steel cowboys all over the world. Your arsenal includes more than 150 armored vehicles from America, Germany, and the Soviet Union, carefully detailed with historical accuracy.

A flexible system of authentic vehicle upgrade and development allows you to try any of the vehicles and weapons in the game. Whether you prefer to exhaust your foes with fast and maneuverable light tanks, make deep breaches in enemy lines with all-purpose medium tanks, use the force of giant tanks to eliminate opposing armored forces, or become a heavy sniper with long-range howitzers, each unit type has its own advantages and can be extremely effective when operated by a true tank ace.

But being a great tank commander alone isn’t enough to win! In World of Tanks, it’s all about teamwork. Victory is achieved by combining your combat skills with those of the other members of your team, each playing their own role on the battlefield. Just add your favorite strategy to build your own steel empire and manifest the indisputable authority of the tank power!

UBISOFT® ANNOUNCES THE BLACK EYED PEAS® EXPERIENCE
VIDEO GAME

Dance Video Game Brings The Black Eyed Peas®’ Music, Moves and Style to Microsoft Kinect™ and Wii™

Sydney, Australia –June 28, 2011 – Ubisoft®  has announced the development of The Black Eyed Peas® Experience video game, the second game in the multi-million selling ‘Experience’ franchise. The new dance game will feature fun dance moves as well as hit songs from The Black Eyed Peas® multi-platinum selling catalogue. It will be released on the Kinect™ for Microsoft Xbox 360® entertainment system and Wii™ system by Nintendo.

“The Black Eyed Peas® are the perfect artists to headline our next Experience game. Their award-winning music, dance moves and artistic style will be combined into a gaming experience that will excite both fans of the group and those who enjoy playing dance titles,” said Yves Guillemot, co-founder and chief executive officer of Ubisoft. “The Black Eyed Peas® are a worldwide phenomenon and Ubisoft is the worldwide leader in dance games – together we are going to make The Black Eyed Peas® Experience a game that fans around the world will love.”

Ubisoft’s Experience franchise has sold more than three million copies to date by making an artist’s universe accessible to fans in an interactive and immersive game. The Black Eyed Peas® Experience takes that concept even further, and features a comprehensive selection of The Black Eyed Peas®’ hit music tracks as well as dance routines arranged by the group’s famed creative director and choreographer, Fatima Robinson.

In the Microsoft Xbox 360® version of the game, which Ubisoft is developing in partnership with renowned music game developers iNiS, players will control their on-screen avatar via the Kinect™ for Microsoft Xbox 360® entertainment system while following the dance moves of 3D avatars, including each of The Black Eyed Peas®: apl.de.ap, Fergie, Taboo and will.i.am. The Wii™ version of The Black Eyed Peas® Experience, being developed by Ubisoft Quebec and Paris, will feature game play similar to Ubisoft’s Just Dance titles, where players hold a Wii™ Remote and follow the moves of The Black Eyed Peas®’ on-screen avatars.

“We are thrilled to be working with Ubisoft to create The Black Eyed Peas® Experience video game,” shared will.i.am, frontman for The Black Eyed Peas®. “Ubisoft has both redefined and dominated the dance category in the video game industry and we can’t wait to be part of taking that to the next level by infusing an experience that’s 100 percent authentic to The Black Eyed Peas®.”

New MOBOTIX D14 DualDome Camera With 6.2 Megapixels

Sydney, June 28, 2011: The new weatherproof and shock-resistant MOBOTIX D14 DualDome camera with 6.2 megapixels is a more powerful successor model of the D12 camera. With the two separately adjustable camera modules, each with 3.1 megapixels, the D14 offers a variety of ways to examine a scene since the two modules can be combined to create one image. The D14 has a digital PTZ and no mechanical moving parts.

Impressive 6.2 Megapixels
Equipped with 90° wide angle and tele lenses, the camera can for example, monitor a scene entirely and, at the same time, the tele lens can record portrait photos in front of the entrance area. The two 90° lenses even allow a 180° recording, for example when monitoring an entire parking lot by one camera installed on the wall. And with the digital sensor switching function, the D14 can also be used as a day/night camera since it can be equipped with one colour and one black/white module ensuring the most brilliant colour during the day and high sensitivity at night.

Recording For Weeks Integrated
The D14 includes motion detection that can trigger both the recording as well as the alarm notification via email or VoIP call as a two-way communication. The integrated DVR can hold up to 64 GB memory and record for weeks without a PC. If needed, the memory can be extended to terabytes with an external NAS drive.

Low Installation Costs
Heating and cooling are not necessary. As a result, the very low power consumption of about 4 watts via network cable (PoE) reduces investment and operating costs and provides an inexpensive backup. A stainless steel vandalism-proof design with 3 mm polycarbonate dome and elegant wall and pole mounts is also available.

Higher Frame Rate And Echo Elimination
Compared to the previous model, the D14 now offers USB and MxBus interfaces for extension modules such as I/O, GPS or RS232. The new, more powerful processor in the camera allows higher frame rates of up to 6 megapixel image format. Microphone and speaker are supported by new audio functions that include echo elimination.

Control Center Software Delivered Free Of Charge
The entire recording and playback software is already included in the MOBOTIX D14 camera and is accessible via a Web browser. In addition, either the MxCC Control Center software, which is used for larger projects of up to 1,000 cameras, or the easily-manageable MxEasy software for smaller applications with analyzing, administration and display features are available free of charge.
