Blades of Time – Coming to PS3/360 in 2012

KONAMI sharpens the Blades of Time
New 3D action title heads to Playstation® and Xbox360®
15 July 2011: Konami Digital Entertainment GmbH has announced Blades of Time – an action title boasting a sword-wielding heroine fighting for survival within a hostile fantasy realm.

Blades of Time stars a female bounty hunter called Ayumi who transports herself to Dragonland in search of unimaginable treasures. However she soon realizes that Dragonland is a hostile world, ruled by a demonic being, wreaking havoc and incarcerating the other bounty hunters who have previously found their way there. Armed with a pair of swords, Ayumi is charged with toppling the evil overlord and escaping whilst evolving her fighting skills and magic abilities in order to proceed.

The game is set within a 3D landscape, which Ayumi can freely explore. As she does so, however, she will be pursued by hordes of creatures, all of whom must be bested. Using a special dual-wield system, Ayumi can cut a swathe through the hundreds of adversaries that stand in her way, while combo attacks, and magic spells can be learned en route. Ayumi can also learn spells based on both Chaos and Order, including the ability to turn back time and fight alongside herself! This ‘Time Rewind’ function sends Ayumi back to an earlier point, allowing her to assist herself in combat or solve puzzles by leaving items that will be useful at a later point.

Blades of Time’s Dragonland setting is rife with traps, which have to be thwarted or avoided, while the various locations throw up a series of themed inhabitants. As such, the game progresses from the island’s snowy locales, through to balmy jungles, decaying cities, and sky islands. Each brings a fresh look and differing inhabitants into play, pushing Ayumi’s new-found skills to their limits. The game also offers co-op play for a second player, via the game’s all-action Outbreak Mode.

Takedown Piracy Increases Operating Systems for More Effective Copyright Policing

Placing Clients First, Takedown Piracy Feeds Its Revenue Back Into the Company to Stimulate Growth, Security & Results!

July 15, 2011 — MARINA DEL REY, Calif. — Takedown Piracy is pleased to announce the increasing of its operating systems for more effective copyright policing. The increase in computers and servers is a direct result of Takedown Piracy owner Nate Glass’s business model. Glass is committed to reinvesting revenue back in the company, furthering growth and results. Now Takedown Piracy is able to dedicate individual operating systems to monitor the various forms of piracy, including cyberlocker infringements, torrents, tube sites and social network sites. The advanced Aikido Program will run off its own server, generating the removal of even more infringements in a shorter time. Glass states, “Takedown Piracy began as a passion project for me—something I wanted to do because it’s the right thing to do. As the company grows, it becomes even more important to hold true to our ideals and vision. Reinvesting the majority of our revenue is an investment in our customers. It keeps us focused on our mission to remove, prevent and educate the world about piracy.”

For more information regarding Takedown Piracy’s services, visit http://takedownpiracy.com/why-use-takedown-piracy/.

Takedown Piracy utilizes a multi-faceted approach towards preventing online content theft. Among its array of servers is one dedicated solely to monitoring over 500 cyberlocker forums and blogs daily, as well as sending infringement notices to the sites. Another server’s focus is on Bit Torrent sites, tracking the websites responsible for the brunt of torrent infringements. The result is torrent removals and notices sent to Google for non-compliant sites. The observance of the largest tube and streaming sites, plus Twitter, requires a separate server, which generates infringement notices. In addition, a server is utilized as the Googler. It constantly runs through Google results for client’s properties and generates removal notices.

Among the many attributes separating Takedown Piracy from its competitors is its new custom tool, the Aikido Program, which is now running on a separate server as well. The progressive tool is capable of removing 100,000 copyright infringements in only 24-hours. The Aikido Program is exclusive to TDP and uses a PHP script to exploit a large piracy aggregation site. It takes a site meant to assist illegal downloads and transforms it into a valuable asset in anti-piracy. True to its martial art namesake, the Aikido Program uses the strength of its opponent to its own advantage.

Wanting to better involve the fans of Takedown Piracy’s numerous artist clients, the company created a tips page. Millions of additional eyes provide Takedown Piracy with an army seeking out illegal downloads on torrent, tube and cyberlocker sites. Users are asked to report the copyright owner and a link to the infringement. To report a copyright violation using Takedown Piracy’s tip page, visit http://takedownpiracy.com/tips/.

To view a statistical breakdown of infringements removed by Takedown Piracy, visit http://takedownpiracy.com/stats/.
