NEW BOSE® SOLO TV SOUND SYSTEM

Watching TV Just Got Better With One Speaker, One Connection

August 30, 2012 — Today, Bose introduces the Solo TV sound system, an unobtrusive, single speaker designed specifically for watching television.  The Bose® Solo system dramatically improves the dialogue, music, action and sound effects from everyday programming, takes just one connection and fits neatly under many TVs.

“TV picture quality has improved over the years, but its audio quality hasn’t,” said Doug Lankford, Bose Director of Home Theatre Product Marketing.  “The Bose Solo TV sound system was developed for the love of TV –- for people who don’t want a home theatre system.  It delivers detailed sound at any volume, without the complications or intrusions of multiple components.  One listen, and you’ll realise how much you’ve been missing in your favourite shows.”

The Bose Solo TV sound system measures just 7.1 cm high x 53 cm wide and just over 30 cm deep -– yet it delivers detailed, wide, even sound using proprietary Bose digital signal processing and Bose speaker array technology.  Owners will hear programme audio clearly and naturally, even at lower volumes.  And regardless of what’s being watched, it can now be heard with the intended impact –- the whispered conversation between two actors, the powerful vocals of a talent show, the music supporting a drama, or the crack-of-a-bat for a test match-winning boundary.

The Bose Solo TV system will work with any TV, but was designed for placement under flat-panel televisions that have a base up to 51cm wide and 26 cm deep — requirements met by TVs with screens up to 32” (81.5cm) and many 40” (102 cm) to 42” (107cm) televisions.

Set-up and use is simple.  The Bose Solo TV system connects to a television with just one cable and one plug to the wall.  No additional equipment, wiring or adjustment is required.  A remote control is included and the system can also be operated by most universal remotes.

“People will enjoy the Bose Solo TV system every day,” said Lankford.  “It’s not a product reserved for special occasions, or movie

night — and that’s what makes it so exciting.  Every time you watch TV, the Bose Solo system improves the experience.”

The Bose Solo TV system will be available from Bose from the 31st August 2012 and will retail at AU $549 (NZ $749).  It will be sold at Bose stores, online at www.Bose.com.au, through authorised Bose dealers and direct from Bose on 1800 681 143.

Kingston Digital Transforms iPad, iPhone and iPod touch Storage Capabilities

Sydney, Australia: August 1, 2011 — Kingston, the independent world leader in memory products, today announced the sleek and functional Wi-Drive will arrive in the Australian and New Zealand market, August 8, 2011 and will be available through Kingston’s channel of authorized distributors, resellers and retailers.

Built to address the ever-increasing storage needs of Apple iPad, iPhone and iPod touch users (www.kingston.com/flash/wi_drive.asp), Wi-Drive, a wireless, portable storage solution, allows users to expand the number of documents, images, music and video files they can access from Apple devices.

With its built in Wi-Fi signal, Wi-Drive allows users to stream movies, listen to music, and view pictures or documents by utilizing the Wi-Drive App, available for free in the App Store SM. These files are then easily retrieved via Wi-Drive’s built-in wireless signal without requiring cables or an Internet connection. Three users can work simultaneously with different file types from a single Wi-Drive without any performance disruption.

Flash-based memory technology found in Wi-Drive is more durable than traditional platter-based hard drives, and enables faster file accessibility. It is also extremely portable, weighing only 86.18 grams — less than a pack of playing cards.

“Wi-Drive is an ideal solution for iPad, iPhone and iPod touch users who feel confined by their current storage capacity,” said Nathan Su, Flash Memory Sales Director, APAC Region, Kingston. “Wi-Drive allows Apple device owners to wirelessly manage document and media files, and choose to share them with others, while on the go for work or pleasure. This unique functionality, combined with the durability of a Flash-based device, will satisfy both casual users and the most discerning technophiles.”

How to use the Wi-Drive with compatible Apple products
To begin using Wi-Drive with any of the compatible Apple products, users simply drag and drop files from their PC to Wi-Drive via USB cable, similar to a typical USB Flash drive data transfer. Users then download the Wi-Drive application from the App Store before connecting the Wi-Drive to their device.
