Four new StreetPass Mii Plaza games available as Add-On Content

24th June, 2013 – Nintendo has released a downloadable update for Nintendo 3DS that will add new functionality to the handheld system. Items featured in the update include: Nintendo 3DS owners will be able to change the expression of their Mii character when they meet another user’s Mii via StreetPass. Additional updates to StreetPass Mii Plaza* can now be made without requiring an update to the overall Nintendo 3DS system. Four new StreetPass-enabled games will be available for purchase through StreetPass Mii Plaza for Nintendo 3DS owners who have completed this update: StreetPass Squad, StreetPass Garden, StreetPass Battle and StreetPass Mansion.

– In StreetPass Squad players blast their way through enemies in a scrolling space shooter with the help of StreetPass characters. Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment today confirmed that it will be releasing a Man of Steel Superman skin in July. The skin is based on DC Comics’ iconic Superman character as seen in Warner Bros. Pictures and Legendary Pictures feature film “Man of Steel.” Also scheduled for release in July is the General Zod downloadable content (DLC) character, which is based on NetherRealm Studios’ interpretation of the famed DC Comics character.

SYDNEY, AUSTRALIA 22nd June  – With its potent blend of twin-stick shooting, exploration and customization, HEXODIUS invites players to explore the vast complex, equip their drone with powerful items and upgrades, and ultimately escape the clutches of the deadly enemy droids in a blaze of laser fire. The arcade-style droid shooter is heading to PC this June 21st via Steam™, and will launch on Xbox Live® in autumn 2013.

Developed by Brain Slap Studios and published by NAMCO BANDAI Games Europe, HEXODIUS throws players into the heat of the blaster battle as they conquer multiple game modes and explore six varied worlds, each with a multitude of challenging arenas. The goal is to reach the exit of the Hexodius complex unscathed, but the droids are on the hunt and there’s nowhere left to hide.

Then just when players think they know their enemy, a new droid will appear, with a total of 25 to get the better of in battle, each with its own special dangers.
