Hanover, Germany – August 8, 2013 – After almost two long years of silence, Hanover-based independent developer Mosaic Mask Studio today confirmed that they have resumed development of their Goth comedy adventure game Heaven’s Hope for PC and Mac. A new trailer was released as well.

Mosaic Mask Studio first began production of Heaven’s Hope in late 2011, after having received a special funding for the development of video games from the Lower Saxony government in Germany. After a rather encouraging first reception by the media however, the independent studio had to put their dream on hold for almost 2 years due to all-too-familiar resource restrictions. Now the Hanover-based indie studio have announced they are finally back, encouraged by the success of fellow adventure game studios.

“We’ve closely followed alternative funding endeavours of fellow adventure game developers over the past year and a half, and their hard-won successes in the crowd funding arena have finally given us the confidence to resume development of Heaven’s Hope,” says Seçkin Ölmez, founder and lead designer at Mosaic Mask Studio. “We’re very open about the fact that Kickstarter is definitely something we will be looking at in the near future, but we’re also open to alternative funding routes at this point. Running a long-term crowd funding campaign on our own website independently might be an option too, for example, as other studios have shown before us.”

Heaven’s Hope is an extraordinary fairytale adventure, inspired by some of the greatest Goth comedy artists of our time. Mosaic Mask puts you in the shoes of apprentice-angel Talorel, a young student of Heaven’s stunt-flying academy who is close to passing the final exam that will finally turn him into a full-fledged angel – but when you suddenly collide with an unknown flying object, you crash onto 19th century Earth near the town of Heaven’s Hope. Accident or not, should the archangels find out that you passed the Heavenly Barriers without permission they will cast you out forever. Accompanied by your best friends Myriel and Azael, it is up to you to raise Heaven and Earth to find your way back up in time for the final exam. But beware of the dangers ahead – Heaven’s Hope is in the firm grip of the Spanish Inquisition, and they will give you hell before they let you return to the skies.

Irvine, Calif. – Aug. 8, 2013 – Etrian Odyssey Untold: The Millenium Girl, the latest edition of the map-making, labyrinth-crawling Etrian Odyssey RPG series is getting a collection of pre-order bonus items called “Etrian Untold, Unseen, Unheard.” The collection will include a 7-track music CD which features an exclusive live version of the game’s opening theme, an exclusive rough sketch version of the same, and other songs, arranged by series composer Yuzo Koshiro. Etrian Odyssey Untold: The Millennium Girl (EOU) offers two full length experiences: The expanded story mode takes players on a journey to unravel the mystery of the Yggdrasil Tree’s origins, and the classic mode updates the original Etrian Odyssey with new dungeon layouts and challenges. Both versions feature the same gameplay conveniences, updated 3D graphics, and StreetPass abilities as in Etrian Odyssey IV.

The story mode, a first for the series, gives players five pre-made characters, each with their own personalities and dialogue to explore a side of Etria not seen in the first game. The number of daily and weekly dungeons runs is not limited anymore and changes in the skill balance provide fairer fights between all the classes in PvP.

To provide players a more convenient user interface, there has been an additional UI modification. This is especially beneficial for the PvP in Dragon Nest which also was updated with new match modes like the Combo Practice mode.

The hardest challenge up to this date has become even harder now. From this day on, players can try to defeat the Mare Oblivion in a hardcore mode. Those who succeed will be rewarded with legendary equipment.

New Soviet, German, and Chinese machines will enter the fray in Update 8.8

8^th August, 2013 – Wargaming, the leading free-to-play MMO developer and publisher, today revealed the first details of Update 8.8 for its MMO action game, World of Tanks.

“Update 8.8 will introduce some very cool new machines into the Soviet and German lines,” said World of Tanks Producer Mike Zhivets. “Strengthened with the addition of even more medium and heavy vehicles, the game’s roster will offer players extra variety, while the rebalance within the German line will provide for a more well-rounded experience”.

The upcoming update will bring an alternative branch of Soviet medium tanks, starting at Tier 6. This new line will include the A-43 (Tier 6), the A-44 (Tier 7), the Object 416 (Tier 8), and the Object 140 that will take its place as the nation’s top medium tier option.

Fans of the German tech tree will see the debut of two new vehicles-the Tier 4 DW heavy chariot and the Tier 6 VK3002 (M) medium tank. The VK3001H heavy tank will be moved to Tier 5, undergo rebalancing, and become a heavy tank, just as the VK3601H.

Update 8.8 will also introduce two new Chinese premium machines-the Tier 8 T-34-3 medium tank and the 112 Tier 8 heavy tank, as well as a new battle arena with autumn setting-Tundra.
