Nintendo Australia is on the Hunt for the Ultimate Monster Hunter
February 15, 2013 – Starting Today, Nintendo Australia has begun the search to find Australia and New Zealand’s Ultimate Monster Hunter! Nintendo Australia are giving Monster Hunter players the opportunity to submit footage of themselves showing their skill in playing Monster Hunter™ Tri for Wii™. Hunters will be entering for the chance to be crowned the Ultimate Monster Hunter and win the opportunity to visit Nintendo Australia’s head office and create a gameplay launch trailer for Monster Hunter™ 3 Ultimate. Hunters will also have the chance to win Monster Hunter 3 Ultimate for Wii U™ and Nintendo 3DS™ at launch.
In order to enter, players must record themselves battling any monster in Monster Hunter Tri (Wii), upload the video to Youtube and send the link through via the competition website.

LEGO City: Undercover launching in Australia and New Zealand on March 28th exclusively on Wii U
15th February 2013 – Nintendo Australia announces today that the upcoming Wii U™ exclusive LEGO® City: Undercover, developed by TT Games, will be available in Australia and New Zealand on the 28th March 2013 as both a packaged game and on Nintendo eShop.
In LEGO City: Undercover, multi-talented cop Chase McCain is trying to arrest the dangerous Rex Fury who is responsible for the recent crime wave in LEGO City. To do this he goes undercover, exploring the sprawling open-world LEGO City and donning a range of different costumes for special abilities; for example, dressed up as a miner he can utilise dynamite, while becoming a robber lets him pry open doors. The unique properties of the Wii U GamePad controller come into play throughout the hunt for Rex Fury. The GamePad functions as a Communicator to talk to others, is used to scan the surroundings for clues or criminals, or to view the handy map and GPS route when driving around the city.

Injustice: Gods Among Us is an all-new game in development by award-winning NetherRealm Studios. Limited Edition Monster Hunter 3 UltimateBundles Announced for Wii U and Nintendo 3DS
15th February 2013 – Limited edition bundles featuring Capcom®’s Monster Hunter™ 3 Ultimate will be coming to Wii U™ and Nintendo 3DS™ XL in Australia and New Zealand on March 23rd. The Wii U Limited Edition Monster Hunter 3 Ultimate Premium Pack not only features a black Wii U console with 32GB of storage*, but also a black Wii U Pro Controller and a copy of the game. The Nintendo 3DS XL Monster Hunter 3 Ultimate Limited Edition Pack, meanwhile, comes with the game pre-installed on a black Nintendo 3DS XL – a brand new hardware colour for the handheld system.

AMD Appoints David Kwon as Vice President for the Asia Pacific-Japan Region
SYDNEY, Australia ? 15th February, 2013 ? AMD today announced that David Kwon, currently president of AMD Korea and general manager of Global Strategic Samsung and Toshiba, has been appointed managing director and corporate vice president of the Asia Pacific-Japan (APJ) Mega Region, effective immediately. Kwon will report to senior vice president and chief sales officer John Byrne. In this role, Kwon is responsible for AMD’s operations and sales across the APJ region, representing eleven countries including Korea, Japan, India, Australia, New Zealand, Philippines, Indonesia, Malaysia, Singapore, Thailand, and Vietnam.
With more than 25 years of strategic sales, marketing, consulting and management experience, Kwon brings a proven track record of leadership and global business performance as demonstrated during the past two years managing the growth of AMD’s global business with Samsung and Toshiba.
“David has done an outstanding job driving end-to-end accountability with a focus on helping ensure AMD-powered Samsung and Toshiba products win in the marketplace,” said John Byrne, chief sales officer and senior vice president of AMD. “I look forward to seeing him extend his track record of success across the region.”

Before joining AMD, Kwon spent more than 10 years at Dell where he held various roles including senior director of regional alliance marketing for large enterprises, APJ and GC, executive director of sales in Global and Public Accounts, and global account manager for U.S. Federal Defense, Intelligence and Civilian Organization.
