EA AND INSOMNIAC GAMES LAUNCH ‘FUSE’ DIGITAL DEMO ON MAY 8

Destruction Becomes a Team Sport as Four Players go up Against… Everyone

Sydney, Australia— May 3, 2013 — Today, Electronic Arts Inc. (NASDAQ: EA) and Insomniac Games announced the release of an action-packed demo for the co-op shooter, Fuse™. The fast-paced demo will be available on Xbox Live® Marketplace and the PlayStation® Network on May 8, allowing players to play online* cooperatively with up to four players, or in a 2-player split-screen. In the demo, players will take on the role of four elite operatives – Dalton Brooks, Izzy Sinclair, Jacob Kimble and Naya Deveraux.

These special agents are out to protect mankind from Fuse, a deadly alien energy source which has been stolen by the rogue paramilitary organization, Raven. Each of the characters delivers a unique gameplay experience, as they have their own individual and unique “Xenotech” weapon and specialized skills. Players will use these abilities as they track down the Fuse source in a snowy secret weapon depot. Developed by the critically-acclaimed independent studio, Insomniac Games, Fuse will mark the company’s first multiplatform release when it becomes available for PlayStation®3 computer entertainment system and Xbox 360® video game and entertainment system on May 30 in Australia and May 31 in New Zealand.

World of Tanks Blitz Gameplay Details Revealed

Wargaming TV News Block brings first look at mobile MMO action game and exclusive interview with Chris Taylor

May 3, 2013 – Wargaming is happy to give behind-the-scenes look at the making of World of Tanks Blitz. Its gameplay footage, followed by interviews with developers, has been sneak peaked during company’s monthly infotainment show Wargaming TV News Block. Built for tablets and smartphones, the MMO action game is at its pre-alpha stage.

The show also brings an interview with Chris Taylor who shares his thoughts on Gas Powered Games and their future within Wargaming, while World of Warships dev team wrap-up their impressions on the expedition to study legendary US navy ships.

KONAMI ANNOUNCES BLADE WOLF DLC FOR METAL GEAR RISING: REVENGEANCE AVAILABLE MAY 14th

Third METAL GEAR RISING: REVENGEANCE DLC Pack available mid-May

May 2, Sydney – Konami Digital Entertainment GmbH will release its Blade Wolf DLC pack for METAL GEAR RISING: REVENGEANCE on May 14, 2013 for the Xbox 360®, and on May 15th for PlayStation®3.

The DLC pack is a playable side-story centred on LQ-84i, who is known as Blade Wolf in the main game. It features multiple hours of gameplay including unique abilities and characteristics for LQ-84i, while also expanding on each of his storylines and origins.
Reactivated by Desperado Enforcement’s leader Sundowner and serving under Mistral, the DLC reveals LQ-84i’s story prior to his battle and eventual partnership with Raiden, and his transformation into Blade Wolf. Players can battle countless enemies using an arsenal of weapons and abilities, culminating in an all-new boss battle.

The Blade Wolf DLC is available May 14th for 560 Microsoft Points for the Xbox 360® video game and entertainment system from Microsoft.

FINAL FANTASY XIV: A REALM REBORN LAUNCHING WINTER 2013 (ANZ)

Closed beta phase three scheduled for June

Sydney, 2nd May – Following announcements made by Producer and Director Naoki Yoshida at Nico Nico Chokaigi 2 event in Tokyo, Square Enix is excited to reveal that FINAL FANTASY XIV: A Realm Reborn will be launching this winter on PC and PlayStation®3.

The game is scheduled to enter the third phase of closed beta testing in June.  Beta phase three will introduce PlayStation®3 users to FINAL FANTASY XIV: A Realm Reborn for the very first time, where they will be able to experience the captivating world of Eorzea alongside PC players due to the game’s cross-platform functionality.

Additionally, beta phase three testers will gain access to a wealth of new content, including the introduction of the city states of Ul’dah and Limsa Lominsa.

Soul Sacrifice arrives on PlayStation Vita today
