Prometheus Easter Egg – What Is 10-11-12?

Prometheus has had some mixed reviews… however for those who stayed till the end of the credits, there was an interesting link to a website called “What Is 10-11-12?”. Obviously it’s all about the viral campaign for the movie but if you visit the site, it has Guy Pearce as Weyland with an ominous warning!

Sydney, Australia – 12 June 2012 – Following the success of the popular ‘Extreme’ series, Cooler Master announces a successor with the ‘Extreme II’ Power Supply. Available in 535W, 625W and 725W, there is a model to suit everything from basic computing to high end gaming needs.

Cooler Master has built a reputation of high quality and reliable power supplies and the Extreme II is no exception.  With over power protections on the primary and secondary boards and superior quality capacitors that are heat resistant to 105 Celcius, the PSU is guaranteed to work, even under the heaviest of loads.

With Dual +12V rails, the Extreme II is extremely efficient in delivering power to the motherboard and peripherals. With voltage split into two rails, the power to the main board is uninterrupted and flows steadily when peripherals and hard drives are at heavily load. This allows for the reliable delivery of power where it is needed with safety.

The Extreme II comes with a slew of connection options including a 20+4 Pin Motherboard connector, 4+4 pin CPU power, a 6+2 PCI-Express plug, six SATA and three Molex connections and a 4 pin floppy drive connector.
Cooler Master is excited to release highly anticipated Extreme II and is confident that it is their most reliable and sturdy power supply to date. As such, it is backed by an impressive three year warranty which should easily cover the life of a new system.

Printers that Sprint – Brother achieves fast print speeds with the power of colour LED Technology

Sydney, Australia – 12 June 2012 – Brother International Australia is utilising LED technology in their latest line of Colour LED Printers & Multi-Function Centres®. The new range is capable of higher print speeds in both colour and monochrome, greater resolution with no loss in speed and is quieter, longer lasting and consumes less power.

With LED technology, Brother has made printing more efficient with faster outputs.  An LED  arrangement delivers the toner directly across the length of the drum which then bonds ink to the paper in a single step compared to multiple steps that occur in non-LED printers. Whether printing colour or monochrome, low resolution or high resolution, the process is the same, at the same speed and with the same high quality result.

Each of the four products in the series (including HL-3045CN, HL-3075CW, MFC-9125CN, MFC-9325W) is capable of up to 18 pages per minute in colour or monochrome at a maximum 2,400 x 600dpi optimised print resolution. Each product in the range comes with an LCD display making the devices easy to navigate via the simple and intuitive on-screen menu. The selected range also has USB direct interface allowing printing from USB storage (.pdf and.jpeg) without the need for a PC. Paper handling is also reduced considerably thanks to the 250-sheet input tray cutting down on the number of times you need to refill the machine.
The range consists of wired and wireless printers as well as Multi-Function Centres® with print/copy/scan/fax.

HL-3045CN
– The base unit in the range, the HL- 3045CN is a LAN networked printer with 32MB of memory (expandable to 544MB). It is capable of up to 18ppm in colour and monochrome and has a 250 sheet paper tray with a single sheet manual feed tray for envelopes and thick paper printing.

HL- 3075CW
– The HL-3075CW offers both wired and wireless networking, 18ppm print speed in colour and monochrome, 250 sheet paper tray and single sheet manual feed. It has 64MB of memory (expandable to 576MB) and is PictBridge, PCL6/BRScript 3 compatible with USB host functionality.

MFC-9125CN – With print, copy, scan and fax functionality, the MFC-9125CN Multi-Function Centre® is ideal for small business and home use alike.  It is capable of 18ppm colour and monochrome printing and has a 250 sheet paper tray with a single sheet manual feeder. It has 64MB of memory (expandable to 576MB) and is LAN networked only.

MFC-9325CW
– The flagship model in the range has print, copy, scan and fax functionality as well as wireless 802.11b/g networking.  It has the standard 250 sheet paper tray and can print 18ppm in colour and monochrome at high resolution. It is also perfect for printing directly from digital cameras and USB devices thanks to its PictBridge and USB host features.

Each of the machines in the range uses an innovative toner assembly which is separate from the print drum.  This means that customers only need to replace either the toner or drum as necessary, reducing the cost of new toner when the need arises. The monochrome toner can print 2200 pages and the colour toner can print 1400 pages before needing to be replaced.

Due to the nature of the LED arrangement used in the new range, the environmental impact to produce LED printers is much lower than would typically be found in laser printer manufacture.  Also, Brother International Australia is committed to ensuring that their products don’t end up as landfill at the end of their life cycle.  Thanks to their partnership with ANZRP (via upcoming product stewardship scheme), all printers can be handed in for recycling.  Brother is also a full funding partner of the ‘Cartridges 4 Planet Ark’ program which guarantees zero waste to landfill.

NeocoreGames Reveals Broken Sea at E3 2012

Assemble Your Party and Steer Your Order Back to Greatness in a New Tactical RPG

BUDAPEST – June 8, 2012 – Once, the mighty Empire dominated every inch of the world… or so the legends claim. Today, the Empire is nothing more than myth, until its legacy suddenly resurfaces in the form of an unexplained attack, and players must trace its path back across the frozen northlands in search of answers.  Independent developer NeocoreGames today announced an all-new IP entitled Broken Sea, a party-based tactical RPG for the PC. Telling a world-spanning tale of an arcane order, exploration, and adventure, players will follow the clues left behind by history to unearth the truth behind the mysterious events occurring throughout the realm.

Broken Sea takes place in a world of high magic, action-packed battles and grand storytelling. Beginning the game as a respected member of your order in an almost-forgotten monastery, players will seek out the colossal Dominion Ship—the last of its kind—and journey to the massive archipelago that once prospered under the rule of the Emperor Mages. Assembling their own party of heroes, players must face tactical battles and explore the unknown in order to survive, and restore their once-great order.

Broken Sea follows the classical traditions of RPG adventures,” said Zoltan Pozsonyi, producer  at Neocore Games. “Putting a party together in search of the truth is a tale anybody can get behind. Thanks to the epic story and the unique party-based tactics on offer, Broken Sea is poised to offer something really engaging and immersive to players.”

Dungeonbowl™ is now available

Paris, June, 8th 2012.

Elves, Dwarfs and various creatures from the Games Workshop universe should get ready, since Dungeonbowl™ is available in digital format from today, via our online store, for only $14.99:™

http://store.cyanide-studio.com/dungeonbowl

Blood Bowl, the violent fantasy American football game from Games Workshop, is now a multiplayer experience, played in a dungeon. Moreover, teams are made up of three different races, so it offers a real alternative to classic matches. Then, of course, there are the exploding chests, teleporters and all sorts of traps, so getting to the opponent’s End Zone will not be easy! As victory is achieved by a single touchdown, there will be massive tension during a game.

Dungeonbowl may be played in a dungeon, but that doesn’t mean grim decors. Players can enjoy a wide variety of pitches which conceal hidden dangers and call for strategies which are very different from those used on a standard field. The choice of playing surfaces is, in fact, unlimited as the game’s dungeon editor will allow players to create any number of pitches. The Dungeonbowl community is hereby invited to give free rein to their creative talents and to design crafty and devious dungeons which will be made available to all players.

The basic pack contains the three teams already presented on our website – the Bright, Light and Rainbow Colleges – as well as a standard dungeon environment kit, which can be loaded into the editor.
