James Cameron’s Avatar destined  for IMAX Melbourne Museum 

From the director of the Oscar winning blockbuster Titanic, James Cameron’s latest groundbreaking cinematic masterpiece, Avatar, is set to hit Australia’s largest 3D screen at IMAX Melbourne Museum on December 17, 2009. 

James Cameron first conceived Avatar fourteen years ago when the technical means to fully realize his vision did not yet exist. Now, after four years of actual production work, Avatar delivers a fully immersive cinematic experience in which the revolutionary technology created to make the film merges with the emotion and the sweep of the story itself.
