Ubisoft Teases “Call Of Juarez: Gunslinger”

SYDNEY, AUSTRALIA — March 8th, 2013 – Ubisoft has released a new teaser trailer for Call of Juarez® Gunslinger.

From the dust of a gold mine to the dirt of a saloon, Call of Juarez® Gunslinger is a real homage to the Wild West tales and era.  Players will live the epic journey of Silas Greaves, a ruthless bounty hunter who spent his life on the trail of the West’s most notorious outlaws.  Now it is Silas’ time to tell his story, which is linked to the history of the Wild West era: a mix of myths and historical facts.

Made of memorable encounters with some of the West’s most notorious names such as Pat Garret, Jesse James and Butch Cassidy, the game blurs the lines between man and myth.  Call of Juarez® Gunslinger lets players live the greatest legends of the Old West.

SILKROAD TEASES FPS AND MOBA WITH CONTENT UPDATE

Short And Fierce Arena Combat Proves Crucial To Silkroad Online’s Longevity.

March 7, 2013 – Leading online game developer and publisher Joymax is teasing an upcoming update for their long-running world renowned MMORPG, Silkroad Online.  Despite heavy competition from others titles in the dominant RTS and FPS fields, the PVP arena has flourished and shows no signs of dying off.

During the last seven years with the rise of MOBA titles such as League of Legends, Silkroad Online has three PVP modes that still bring players to the game in droves.  Whether a player is looking for one-on-one action, team gameplay, or goal-oriented play, there’s a little something for everyone.

Fortress War
The Fortress War is a bi-weekly event held every first and third Sunday of the month at 17:00 UTC (GMT).  During this intense hour of combat, guilds compete to see who can plunge into the depths of the Fortress and claim it for their own.  Guilds who conquer the stronghold are able to set the tax policy for the traders on the Silkroad, craft special items, and apply a levee to enter large cities.  During the next fortress war, that guild will be challenged to maintain their hold on the Fortress, or lose their benefits!

Battle Arena
With 2v2, 8v8, 16v16 and even 32v32 combat, the arena is open twice daily to both random and arranged matches.  Whether taking up arms as a party, within a guild, or divided into their two job categories, working together is tantamount to victory.  Once the teams have been chosen, battle participants will be able to choose between Capture the Flag or Point Battle – and may the hardiest team win!  A successful match will earn players Arena Coins, which can be used to purchase Rank 9-11 Accessories.

Battlefield of Infinity
Open 24/7, the Battlefield offers players level 70 and above a challenge that can be tackled solo or within a party of up to eight members.  Players must protect their Guardian Stone during each progressive stage; if it drops to zero health, the Battlefield will end.  Players will have up to two hours to complete all the tasks or they will be kicked out with no rewards.  Finishing a successful run of the Battlefield will award players Arena Coins.

With an increasing number of games that focus on the short and intense match style gameplay, Silkroad Online is ready to introduce a fourth mode of PVP.  Players can watch the official Silkroad Online Facebook at https://www.facebook.com/officialsilkroad! on March 19th for all of the news surrounding this monumental update! RELOADED PRODUCTIONS CELEBRATES TWO YEARS OF APB RELOADED™ DEVELOPMENT WITH RELOADED DAY

Edinburgh Games Studio Defies the Odds with Re-Envisioned Open-World GTA Style Cops and Robbers MMO Title

EDINBURGH, Scotland, March 7, 2013 – Reloaded Productions®, a leading developer of free2play® massively multiplayer online games, is celebrating its second anniversary as a game development studio San Paro style, delivering contests, prizes and exclusive in-game titles for players who have supported APB Reloaded since its re-launch in 2011. Formed on March 7th 2011, Reloaded Productions Edinburgh became the second development studio under the GamersFirst banner, tasked solely with the re-envisioning of Dave Jones’ All Points Bulletin open-world action MMO.

In celebration of two years of hard-fought success, Reloaded Productions is naming the day “Reloaded Day” and is awarding players who log in between now and March 11 three days of Premium status in APB Reloaded. Gamers will earn more experience, more in-game rewards for completed missions and can take advantage of a 20 percent discount on everything in APB Reloaded’s item store. Reloaded Day also kicks off four days of high-stakes contests, giving players a chance to win more than $6000.00 worth of G1 Credits. More information about the contests can be found at APB Reloaded’s development blog: http://apbreloaded.gamersfirst.com.

As a special thank you to players who have supported APB Reloaded’s early development, Reloaded Productions is awarding special titles of ‘CBT Veteran’ for anyone who participated in the closed beta and ‘OBT Veteran’ to recognize all who joined the game during its open beta testing.

“It’s a very proud day for everyone here, and everyone involved in the success of APB Reloaded,” said Michael Boniface, managing director of Reloaded Productions Edinburgh. “In the beginning, the scope of work involved in making APB Reloaded would have been intimidating even for a large team, saying nothing of a development team of just 13. Through hard work, dedication and passion for the game, we’re awed at what we accomplished, and look to a bright and exciting future of continued game development.”

In a short amount of development time, Reloaded Productions took the commercial failure All Points Bulletin and turned it into a fun and addictive guilty pleasure for gamers worldwide. Through refocusing the title’s core gameplay mechanics, improving the latency issues, converting the game to a free2play business model, and creating new in-game items, weapons, vehicles and characters, the modern-day cops and robbers MMO has become an undeniable example of success as APB Reloaded. The fruits of their labor resulted in a Steam most popular top-five free2play game for more than a year, with a registered player-base of more than three million users.

APB Reloaded features a rich experience similar to what players expect in premium packaged games. Players enter the city of San Paro to unite and fight with anarchist Criminals or join the justice-driven Enforcers. With two distinct open-world action districts, it’s all about epic PvP combat, joining firefights over territory against enemy factions, or running missions to gain money and notoriety. Players looking for a quicker, more visceral experience can choose between two Fight Club Districts, pitting up to 32 players against each other in closed-off areas of the city, fighting for loot and boosting in-game status in modes such as Team Death Match and King of the Hill. The Social District is all about self-expression where players can share all of their creations, from custom clothing creations and modified cars to their own mixed music. The opportunity for self-expression is a big part of APB Reloaded, enabled by a toolset of customizable features that are second to none. Fuse – Jacob Kimble Infograph

Jacob Kimble Infograph:

This infographic highlights Jacob Kimble, one of the four elite operatives that players will be able to take control of when Fuse hits shelves this spring. Jacob is a former LAPD detective with a reckless disregard for the law. He joined Overstrike 9 when he was kicked off the force, and has been sniping enemies with his Arc Shot ever since.

Fuse is a 4-person co-op, story-driven, action game where even solo players can experience the unique attributes of each agent by using the game’s LEAP feature to switch between the four characters at will during combat. Each agent is equipped with unique skills and weapons not only integral for survival, but that also allows for unexpected and extraordinary results. Experimental Fuse weapons are powered by a volatile alien substance that gives players unique capabilities that expand their strategic options in and out of combat. Through lethal teamwork, players can complete objectives and kills to earn Fuse points for powerful upgrades.
