Eyedip Launches Free Version of Pocket Devil: Hell Yeah! Along With Holiday Themed Chapter 15: ‘Happy Helladays’

Hell Has Frozen Over and Zombie Santa Reigns Supreme

New York, NY — December 16, 2010 — Eyedip LLC announces the release of Pocket Devil Lite, the highly anticipated free version of its highly popular entertainment app, Pocket Devil: Hell Yeah! for iPhone and iPad. Pocket Devil Lite enables players to navigate the classic underworld as well as the all-new Christmas-inspired environment in Chapter 15: Happy Helladays! With all new physics and new updates always in the works, Pocket Devil is a devilishly fun thrill-ride that’s constantly evolving!

In Pocket Devil Lite, 50 little devils will re-spawn every day, and players can choose from a limited selection of weaponry and torture items to toy with their minions’ eternal souls. With a tap, pinch, drag, or swipe, the little devils are brought to their bitter ends in all kinds of hilarious and cartoonishly gory ways. In addition, Pocket Devil Lite also features three of the most popular mini-games from the full version: Rise from Hell, Slapfest, and Slingshot. The Lite version is ad-supported, but in a novel way that should be less annoying for the player; only after 50 of the Mugat2 have been summoned, will a video advertisement be played. After the high-quality video ad has been shown, the player is given up to 20 Mugat2’s to do with as they please.

The latest chapter of Pocket Devil, Happy Helladays reveals a snow-covered, uncommonly icy Underworld that’s been garnished with glistening holiday decor! This update introduces a pack of holiday-inspired guises for the devils to wear, enabling players to dress their little minions up as reindeer, elves, snowmen, or even as Zombie Santa before flinging them into a shockingly high-voltage Christmas tree. Players can also take their minions down the treacherous snow-covered slopes of DownHell Slalom for a mini skiing adventure in hell!

“We are thrilled to ring in the holidays with the simultaneous launch of Pocket Devil Lite and the latest chapter in the Pocket Devil saga,” says Steven Fleisher, Co-Founder of Eyedip. “We remain committed to keeping the app fresh and relevant, and it’s been a blast creating new mini-games and events like the ‘elecTREEcuting’ Christmas tree, which provide fun new ways for our players to bring the Mugat2’s to their demise.”

“We took great care when crafting our Lite implementation of Pocket Devil. We wanted to bring a free solution to market that was substantial enough to be fun as a stand-alone app, not just a funnel that guides people to the full version,” says Jeremy Adelman, Co-Founder of Eyedip. “Pocket Devil Lite includes all of the new content from Chapter 15, and also enables new players to explore the underworld with three of our most popular mini-games from the Pocket Devil: Hell Yeah! collection.”
