Twilight Eclipse has a bigger bite in IMAX

Twilight fans will have the opportunity to sink their teeth into The Twilight Saga- Eclipse on the world’s third largest screen, at IMAX Melbourne Museum for a limited three week season from 1 July, 2010.

IMAX Melbourne Museum is one of two film based IMAX theatres outside of the US to release the highly anticipated third instalment of The Twilight Saga.

“We’re very excited to be showing Eclipse here at IMAX Melbourne Museum and can’t wait to see all the excited twilight fans dressed up at the midnight screening”, said Richard Morrison, IMAX Melbourne Museum General Manager.

Directed by visionary filmmaker David Slade (30 Days of Night, Hard Candy), from a screenplay written by Melissa Rosenberg, The Twilight Saga- Eclipse: The IMAX Experience stars Kristen Stewart, Robert Pattinson and Taylor Lautner.

Bella (Stewart) once again finds herself surrounded by danger as Seattle is ravaged by a string of mysterious killings and a malicious vampire continues her quest for revenge.  In the midst of it all, she is forced to choose between her love for Edward (Pattinson) and her friendship with Jacob (Lautner) — knowing that her decision has the potential to ignite the ageless struggle between vampire and werewolf. With her graduation quickly approaching, Bella is confronted with the most important decision of her life.
