The latest instalment in the S.T.A.L.K.E.R. series is set to release 25 February 2010
Gold Coast: 4th January 2010. All Interactive Entertainment (AIE), together with N3V Games, is pleased to announce that they will be releasing S.T.A.L.K.E.R.: Call of Pripyat across Australia and New Zealand on PC.
From the series that has sold over 2 million copies comes “the so far most sophisticated S.T.A.L.K.E.R. game” (GameStar). S.T.A.L.K.E.R.: Call of Pripyat is one of the first PC games supporting the new DirectX®11 technology. This newest episode, developed by bitComposer Games, is set shortly after the end of the S.T.A.L.K.E.R.: Shadow of Chernobyl and put gamers once again into the vicinity of the Chernobyl nuclear reactor that exploded in 1986.
This post apocalyptic 1st person shooter with a huge open game world has a dense atmosphere in a realistic setting and an exceptional story line, which concentrates on the strengths of the previous titles in the series.
In the role of Agent Alexander Degtyarev, the player goes undercover as a S.T.A.L.K.E.R. to investigate the mysterious disappearance of five military helicopters and thereby stand one’s ground against various S.T.A.L.K.E.R. groups.
