Aliens Vs Predator
April 2010
Developed by Rebellion and Published by Sega
It’s human nature to be afraid of the dark. Afraid of the things that we don’t see, terrified of what can lurch from the blackness and take us to the dark oblivion. Rebellion has had a good history with the Alien franchise. Having had a good run with Alien Vs Predator for the Jaguar gaming system back in 1995, and then Aliens Vs Predator for the PC in 1999. Now here we are in 2010, and Rebellion is again bringing the terror to gamers with a game concept that just knocks your socks off. This time around Aliens Vs Predator has all the bells and whistles going for it. The game companies with proven track records for the franchise, spectacular story telling and now incredible next gen graphics. What we expect from this title is of course again, a game that is actually three games in one. Playing either as a Human Marine, an Alien or a Predator. Each game experience bringing more depth and three different points of view to the story. For a time, we had been worried that the graphic nature of some of the deaths in the game would cause it to not get a rating in Australia, thankfully that is not the case at all. So our Australian readers will be enjoying an uncut, full immersive experience. If Rebellion delivers it’s usual spectacular all around quality, gamers can expect a suspense filled romp that they will have a hard time tearing themselves away from. Aliens Vs Predator is coming for the PC and can also be downloaded on Steam. The other platforms are of course Xbox 360 and the PS3. Watch for our full review within a few days of release in February 2010.
