Winnie the Pooh warms hearts this Valentine’s Day

Walt Disney Studios Home Entertainment is spreading the love in time for Valentine’s Day by releasing the 10th Anniversary Special Edition DVD of Winnie the Pooh – A Valentine For You, available from 3 February 2010. 

All of your favourite Winnie the Pooh characters will take you on a double adventure as they celebrate Valentine’s Day in the Hundred Acre Wood on this 10th Anniversary Special Edition DVD, capturing the true meaning of caring for a loved one. 

In A Valentine For You, the heart-warming journey begins as Christopher Robin is bitten by a ‘Smitten’, or love bug. Winnie the Pooh and all of his friends – Tigger, Piglet, Eeyore, Owl and Rabbit – head off on an adventure in search of a second bite from the ‘Smitten’ to cancel out the first.  As the adventure continues, Pooh comes to realise there’s a special place in the heart for old friends, even when new ones come along. 

In the uplifting Un-Valentine’s Day, Rabbit decides to cancel Valentine’s Day due to the overwhelming amount of cards which littered the Hundred Acre Wood the year before. Things change when Pooh receives a pot of honey and the cards begin to arrive by the truck load – much to everyone’s delight, even Rabbit.  

Families will love this double feature DVD in the classic animated tradition of Winnie the Pooh, which includes three songs and a bonus episode from the New Adventures of Winnie the Pooh.
