Sydney – 11 November, 2009 – As the company’s BRAVIA promotional counter moved dramatically close to zero, Sony Australia today announced the release of an additional 10,000 bonus PlayStation®3 (PS3™) consoles, guaranteed to be delivered in time for Christmas[1], with the purchase of selected BRAVIA LCD TV models.
The announcement comes as the last of the original 25,000 bonus PS3 consoles, made available just three weeks earlier on 22 October, are expected to be redeemed. Demand for the promotion has been strong, with consumer confidence bolstered further by the offer of an extended three year warranty on all BRAVIA LCD TVs. With a number of quality control tests carried out during the assembly process, any consumer who purchases a BRAVIA LCD TV can be assured they have invested in a TV that has been built to the highest manufacturing standards.
“Now, an additional 10,000 consumers can enjoy a BRAVIA LCD TV, extended three year warranty and bonus PS3 – all under the tree in time for Christmas. This combination reaffirms the quality of our BRAVIA LCD TV range and provides consumers with a value for money Full HD entertainment hub for just over $2000. This is undoubtedly the best offer we have ever had in the market and is proof that there’s never been a better time to purchase a TV,” said Toby Barbour, Deputy General Manager of Consumer Products Marketing at Sony Australia.
The additional 10,000 PS3 consoles, valued at $499.95, are guaranteed to be delivered in time for Christmas if validated before 1 December 2009. Full details on the promotion, including number of units remaining, can be found at: www.sony.com.au/bonus.
