MELBOURNE – Thursday 29 October 2009 – The Game Developers’ Association of Australia (GDAA) today announced the two forums that will run alongside this year’s Game Connect Asia Pacific (GCAP) conference. The forums, which will concentrate on Education and E-Health will both be held in Sunday 6 December at the Crown Hotel Complex, Melbourne.
The Education forum is designed for educators at all levels, with separate tracks for school and tertiary. Expert presenters will demystify the game industry in a series of combined lectures and hands-on workshop style sessions.
If you are working at a school or tertiary institution and have an interest in Australia’s world-class game development industry, or if you are already working with students in this field, then this forum is not to be missed.
The E-Health forum is a first for GCAP. Featuring a stellar lineup of local and international presenters, this half-day event will bring together the Australian game development industry with healthcare providers, clinicians and heath technology application developers.
The E-Health forum is aimed at game developers, health practitioners and academics from both fields. The E-Health sector encompasses a rapidly growing $6.6 billion international market that Australian companies are well placed to access.
