Recent game update offers various usability enhancements 

SYDNEY, AUSTRALIA – September 13, 2013 – Ubisoft® and Blue Byte® have announced that ANNO® Online will undergo a content update of the browser-based strategy game. Next to the all-new social feature “visit your friend’s island”, a range of improvements will be introduced, such as optimised tutorial quests for new players, a user-friendly game interface to identify ascension rights of the residents and a responsive new feature to place buildings.

Key features: 

–         “Visit your friend’s island”: The new friend feature will enable players to examine the play style of their friends, for instance, how they’ve cultivated their islands or what special buildings they’ve earned. It’s not only possible to see their main island, but also to visit all additional islands friends have colonised so far. The feature offers another layer of player interaction: buffing their production buildings give players in return a longer buff duration for their own production buildings.

–         Ascension rights interface: Achieving new citizen levels is one of the key features of ANNO. The new user interface provides a user-friendly overview of achieved and required ascension rights to carry the player’s population to a new level.

–         Building placement feedback: This feature gives a quick glance about the building ground and the possibility to construct buildings in terms of space and resources.
