Gaijin Entertainment, developer and publisher of the military MMO game War Thunder, is announcing that the game has been updated to version 1.29, receiving a number of important and qualitative improvements. Starting in Russia on November 1, 2012, the War Thunder open beta has attracted more than one million gamers—newcomers to the fascinating world of MMOs as well as experienced players and flight simulation fans. Today’s update will serve as a pleasant surprise for all of these War Thunder pilots, providing not only welcome gameplay innovations but also a multiple enhancements, new features, and a more convenient and stylish user interface.
An important element of this update is the addition of “top” bombers for each country. Improvements have also extended to the game’s graphics and sound effects, with improved air brake animations, the addition of shells ricochetting from the ground, and more realistic camera effects when shooting. In addition to gameplay has also undergone many improvements as well. The project now fully supports headset-tracker Gametrix vTrack MKI, the client size has been reduced, and load times have been optimized.
