SYDNEY – Thursday, November 15th – Today Codemasters® announced that F1 RACE STARS, the game that takes FORMULA ONE racing over the top, is out now in Australian & New Zealand stores for the Xbox 360® video game and entertainment system from Microsoft, and the PLAYSTATION®3 computer entertainment system.
In keeping with the game’s theme, new videos released today give a couple of the game’s power ups their very own over the top TV-style ads, parodying ‘home shopping’ advertisements.
Both videos are introduced by FORMULA ONE stars in their all-new charming caricatured form, and are now playing on the F1 RACE STARS YouTube channel www.YouTube.com/F1RaceStars

F1 Race Stars, from Codemasters Racing, features the full cast of FORMULA ONE stars as you’ve never seen them before in a chaotic sprint for the chequered flag on circuits littered with power-ups and featuring jumps, loop-the-loops and barrel-rolls! Designed to share the fun with 4-player split-screen racing, which can be combined with 12 player-online play, racing fans of all ages will experience a new world of FORMULA ONE fun as they dodge a Truckosaurus, speed past Robo-Sumos and leap into a shark’s mouth on speedy circuits inspired by 11 iconic tracks including Monaco, Silverstone and the new Circuit of Americas in Austin, Texas.
Gamers can experience powered-up FORMULA ONE in single player and with up to 4 players in split-screen today with the F1 RACE STARS demo for the Xbox 360, PLAYSTATION 3 and from Steam for Windows PC today. In the demo players can race as Jenson Button, Fernando Alonso, Sebastian Vettel or Kimi Räikkönen and compete against other official and fictional FORMULA ONE drivers, transformed into heroic caricatures that are bursting with personality. On Xbox 360, players can also choose to play as their own Xbox Avatar.
