The Parrot AR.Drone 2.0 quadricopter can now be piloted with Sony’s award-winning remote control for Google TV and its video stream broadcasted live on the TV screen!
In developing the Sony’s Internet Player with Google TV, Parrot and Sony have come together to create an ‘AR.FreeFlight’ piloting application compatible with Sony’s Internet Player with Google TV “NSZ-GS?”.
‘AR.FreeFlight’ is a free application that enables the flight and piloting of the Parrot AR.Drone 2.0 on iOS and Android™ Smartphones and tablets. The video stream generated by the frontal camera of the AR.Drone 2.0 is displayed on the screen of the piloting device.
With the new ‘AR.FreeFiight 2.0.8’ application developed with Sony, the Parrot AR.Drone 2.0 can now be piloted with Sony’s award-winning remote control bundled with “NSZ-GS7” which integrates a 3-axis motion sensor; and the video stream from the AR.Drone 2.0 is broadcast on to the TV screen connected to “NSZ-GS7”.
This new and unique compatibility of the Parrot AR.Drone 2.0 offers pilots a new way to share their flying experiences and opens up a range of new opportunities for games or challenges!
• AR.FreeFiight 2.0.8 application compatible with Sony’s Internet Player with Google TV will be available for free before the end of October on Google Play.
