Ubisoft Rocksmith New DLC Tuesday drops in with Indie goodness
The latest three songs that are offered from Ubisoft for Rocksmith is a three punch indie goodness of tasty indie rock tunes.
Gary Clark Jr.’s “Bright Lights,” The Shins’ “Caring is Creepy,” and Grace Potter and the Nocturnals’ “Paris (Ooh La La)” out for your Xbox or PS3 today.
We downloaded and checked them out and they are all rocking tunes. Gary Clark Jr.’s “Bright Lights” With some awesome distortion tones that you just want to play with. It’s blues and rock at its best no doubt about it. This song is an excellent addition to Rocksmith, and introducing this artist to millions of new fans.
Then Grace Potter and the Nocturnals’ “Paris (Ooh La La)” has enough rock biting guitar and driving Bass to make this a surprising Rocksmith Favorite.
The Shins’ “Caring is Creepy,” comes from the band’s older debut album when they were first signed to a label. Rich with Echoing like vocals and a driving guitar make it clear why this tune was chosen to be added. Once you get up to playing most if not all of the chords in this song is when the magic really starts popping.
Aces all around Ubisoft.
