VIRTUA FIGHTER 5 FINAL SHOWDOWN LAUNCHES 

SYDNEY, Australia — 8th June, 2012 —SEGA® Europe Ltd. and SEGA® of America, Inc. announced that Virtua Fighter™ 5 Final Showdown is out now. Based on the latest arcade version of the celebrated Virtua Fighter 5 series, the game is available for PlayStation®Network and Xbox LIVE® Arcade for the Xbox 360® video game and entertainment system from Microsoft. Virtua Fighter 5 Final Showdown is priced at AUD$19.95 for PSN and 1,200 Microsoft Points for XBLA.

Character customisation DLC packs are available for individual characters at AUD$6.25 for PSN or 400 Microsoft points each. Two character customisation DLC bundles are also available for purchase; one bundle includes nine characters’ worth of DLC items, and the second contains DLC items for the remaining 10 characters. Each bundle is priced at AUD$19.95 for PSN and 1,200 Microsoft Points for XBLA.

Players choosing to purchase Virtua Fighter 5 Final Showdown on PSN will have the option to purchase the “Complete Edition” for AUD$39.95 which includes the full game and all character customisation DLC. Complete Edition is a limited time offer and will only be available for two weeks after launch. PlayStation®Plus subscribers will be able to download Virtua Fighter 5 Final Showdown free from PSN for one month after launch, and will have the option to purchase character customisation DLC bundle packs for 20% off for two weeks from launch.

  • Robust Training Mode including frame advantage display
  • Eight player Online Room Match with lobby system
  • Match Record
  • Based on Version A, the current version available in Japanese arcades
  • DLC content with hundreds of customisable items for each character
