CARTOON NETWORK LAUNCHES LEVEL UP: CONQUERER OF ALL WORLDS – New online game the basis of new TV

In the show, four friends, Wyatt, Dante, Lyle and Angie, players of CONQUEROR OF ALL WORLDS, accidentally create a portal between the fictional world of the game and their real life neighbourhood. The foursome may be gamers extraordinaire but defeating trolls, squashing barbarians and annihilating ghouls is very different IRL (in real life). What they wouldn’t give for a cheat code!

CONQUEROR OF ALL WORLDS is a massive online adventure that takes players through multiple dungeon levels in search of clues and artifacts to defeat the evil wizard Maldark. Players can create their own character and level up their skills using powerful new weapons and armour. With a little help from Black Death, Sir Bickle and Wizza the characters set off on their epic quest against Maldark’s awful minions.

Online gaming is now the main use of internet for the younger generation, according to the findings of Cartoon Network’s 2010 New Generations research. When asked what they had used the internet most for in the last month, responses included online gaming (38%), school work (20%), social networking (14%) and Youtube (10%). With gaming, 1 in 2 kids said they played single player games at least once a week, 1 in 4 kids said that they played MMOGs (Massively Multiplayer Online Games) at least once a week with both groups up +7% and +16% respectively.

Marcelo Silva, Senior Interactive Manager, Turner International Australia says: “We are very excited for the launch of the new game, in conjunction with the new TV series this June. In its beta release, the game has delivered massively positive results. Whether online, via their mobile or on their favourite TV channel, kids just can’t seem to get enough of Cartoon Network content.”
