TODD & THE BOOK OF PURE EVIL
Imagine, if you will, a book of awesome power. A book that will make your deepest, darkest desires come true… but at a horrifying cost.
This is The Book of Pure Evil, and it’s loose in Crowley High. Thankfully, one horny teenager stands between The Book of Pure Evil
and the end of the world, as we know it. His name is Todd. And he will save our asses – whether he likes it or not.
Todd & the Book of Pure Evil is unlike anything you have seen for a long time… or ever. It will make you cringe, burst out laughing and have you looking around the room wide-eyed in astonishment thinking, “Did that actually just happen?!”
It’s not easy to describe a show like Todd & the Book of Pure Evil – it needs to be experienced. Whether you call it horror, supernatural,
science fiction or dark comedy – when you strip back the basics, it reflects a sentiment that just about everyone can relate to… high school is hell.
The Canadian series stars Alex House (Degrassi: The Next Generation), Maggie Castle (The Time Traveler’s Wife) and Jay and Silent Bob’s very own Jason Mewes as ‘Jimmy the Janitor’.
Featuring hilarious special effects, smashing heavy metal, jokes that are dirtier than a teenage boy’s bedroom and more WTF moments than you could believe, Todd & the Book of Pure Evil is a real treat.
Consisting of 13 episodes, this unique series will be released on DVD through
Hopscotch/Entertainment One in late 2012.
