Silver Stiletto in frame in San Francisco

Silver Stiletto, the Australian short film about an ex-SAS soldier turned vigilante drag queen, has been selected to screen at Frameline 36: the San Francisco International LGBT Film Festival (June 14-24, 2012).  Founded in 1977, Frameline is the oldest and largest LGBT Festival in the world with annual attendence of 60,000 patrons.

The screening in June will mark the world premiere of the short film produced by Brisbane filmmakers Craig Rossiter, Luke Mayze and actor Guy Edmonds who also stars in the lead role.

The selection at Frameline is the second film festival announcement in a matter of weeks for Mayze and Edmonds whose 2011 film, It’s a Treat, is in competition at the 2012 St Kilda Film Festival and will screen on Saturday 26 May at 12.00pm at the Astor Theatre in Melbourne.
