Cooler Master has announced the release of the second edition Silent Pro M2 power supply
Sydney, Australia – 27th February 2012 – Following the popularity of their Silent Pro M series, Cooler Master has announced the release of the second edition Silent Pro M2 power supply. It follows a similar design, keeping all the features customers enjoyed but also has multiple improvements including stable Voltage Output, Silent operation and Energy Efficiency.
The M2 rides a singular 12V rail which allows it to better regulate power, even in high load situations. It also has an integrated Active Power Factor Corrector (PFC) and Power Width Modulator (PWM) combination controller to provide a reliable power flow while also increasing efficiency.
The Silent Pro M2 has an aluminium-copper heat sink and a 135mm Super Silent Hydraulic Bearing fan designed to keep the unit whisper-quiet while also remaining cool. Case cooling is also assisted by the flat modular cable design which eliminates clutter and therefore improves air flow since you only need to connect cables that are actually required.
The M2 is equipped with enhanced Japanese-made bulk capacitors ensuring the most stable and reliable energy source. Whether gaming or over-clocking, the Silent Pro M2 will easily handle power demands. Cooler Master has even performed rigorous testing in a 40 degree Celsius ambient controlled environment to guarantee performance in any environment.
The Cooler Master Silent Pro M2 power supply delivers the requirement of 80 PLUS Bronze standards, reaching 85% energy efficiency, is tested to meet and exceed 100,000 hours of MTBF and is also backed by a 5 year warranty service.
