Logitech Launches New Wireless Touch Keyboard

SYDNEY, Australia 27th September 2011 — Today Logitech announced the Australian availability of the Logitech® Wireless Touch Keyboard K400, which gives users lean-back, wireless control of their computer or laptop-connected TV. With a wireless range of up to 33 feet, the Logitech Wireless Touch Keyboard K400 offers easy control of a laptop on its own or when it’s connected to a TV from the comfort of your couch.
The Logitech Wireless Touch Keyboard K400 is designed specifically for people who connect their laptops to a TV to enjoy their favourite multimedia content on a larger screen. A built-in 3.5-inch touchpad makes vertical and horizontal scrolling intuitive and eliminates the need for a separate mouse.

“With our new Logitech Wireless Touch Keyboard K400, people can connect their laptops to the TV, turn up the volume of a YouTube video, pause their vacation slideshows or tweet about the movie they just downloaded, all from one sleek controller,” said Annabelle Woods, General Manager of Logitech Australia. “Whether surfing the Web or emailing a friend, navigating and typing is just plain easy with the whisper-quiet, low-profile keys.”
Unlike similar products that require a complicated software installation and configuration, the Logitech Wireless Touch Keyboard K400 setup is simple – just plug the tiny Logitech Unifying receiver into a USB port and it’s ready to go.

The Logitech Wireless Touch Keyboard K400 can even add five more compatible devices to the same receiver. Users can also enjoy lean-back wireless control for up to a year without the hassle of changing batteries. The sleek, low-profile keys feel good and barely make a sound. They’re easy to read, even in a dimly lighted living room, thanks to bold, bright white characters.  The Logitech Wireless Touch Keyboard K400 is compact without compromising on comfort, and stands vertically when not in use for easy storage.

Pricing and Availability
The Logitech Wireless Touch Keyboard K400 is now available in Australia for a suggested retail price of $79.95 and will be sold at Bing Lee, Dick Smith, The Good Guys, JB Hi-Fi, Myer and Officeworks. To find out more about the Logitech Wireless Touch Keyboard K400, please visit www.logitech.com.
