Six months after escaping her unhinged family and tumultuous love life, 30-something obstetrician, Nina Proudman (Keddie), is finally enjoying a calm and relaxing existence after taking up a new job in Baltimore.

Cue emergency…  and like that, Nina is forced to return home, and all the problems that drove her away in the first place come flooding back into her life. Once again, Nina will have to navigate the Proudman family chaos and the complex and confusing rules of love, dating and casual sex.
