Collector’s edition of cult classics redesigned with designer sleeve art

Limited run of 1,500 copies of each film available nationwide in JB Hi Fi stores

Sydney, 18 April 2011: In conjunction with world renowned graphic artist Noma Bar, Sony Pictures Home Entertainment has announced the national release of the ‘Noma Bar Range.’ Featuring a set of newly designed DVDs, the range will include ten cult classic films.

The Noma Bar Range will include:

  • Stand By Me
  • Snatch
  • Donnie Brasko
  • Easy Rider
  • Serpico
  • Once Upon a Time in Mexico
  • Hellboy
  • Rambo
  • Papillon
  

Making this the ultimate collector’s item, the Noma Bar Range will be limited to only 1,500 copies of each film. Retailing at$15.98 per disc, the range will be exclusively available in JB Hi-Fi stores across Australia and online until sold out.

Currently based in London, Noma Bar is known for his unique visual approach to graphic design. The graphic artist has published over 550 illustrations and illustrated over sixty magazine covers throughout his career.

Using a few strokes, bold colours and intricate shapes, Noma’s work visually depicts cultural icons whilst subtlety connoting their representations in society.
