Only just over a month left until LEGO Star Wars III: The Clone Wars hits store shelves worldwide! Today we’re pleased to announce that the downloadable demo for the Xbox 360 is available now. The PS3 demo will be available for download tomorrow.
In addition, we’re pleased to confirm that the 3DS version of LEGO Star Wars III: The Clone Wars will be available to consumers worldwide on the same day as the hardware launch – March 30th.
Play as your favorite Jedi heroes, including Anakin Skywalker, Obi-Wan Kenobi, Ahsoka Tano, and utilize newly enhanced abilities such as lightsaber throwing, cutting, and climbing. Or, take down the evil Separatists as your favorite Clone troopers like Captain Rex and Commander Cody using new rapid-fire blasters and rocket launchers. The 3DS version of the game will feature brand new gameplay mechanics that will allow players to create, control and explore their favorite moments from the hit animated television series like never before. All in a 3D environment, the new handheld version will also feature intense dogfights in space or cut through swatches of enemy droids in over 10 story-based levels and bonus mini-games including snowball fights and Droid volleyball. Players can also use the Nintendo 3DS’s Street Pass and Play Coins to unlock new characters and bonus content.
LEGO Star Wars III: The Clone Wars will be releasing day and date, worldwide, with the Nintendo 3DS. Other platforms release on March 30th, including the Xbox 360, PlayStation 3, Wii, DS, PSP and PC.
