Nintendo 3DS Software Line Up

Nintendo announces the Nintendo 3DS™ software line up that will be available on 31 March 2011, when Nintendo 3DS will be available to purchase for the first time in Australia and New Zealand.

Available from 31 March on Nintendo 3DS will be nintendogs™ + cats and Super Street Fighter® IV 3D Edition. nintendogs + cats will be available in three versions: nintendogs™ + cats Golden Retriever & New Friends, nintendogs™ + cats French Bulldog & New Friends, nintendogs™ + cats Toy Poodle & New Friends.
Meet your brand new puppy or kitten with nintendogs + cats! When you see your puppy or kitten in 3D it feels almost as if you could reach out and touch them. There is now even more variation in the colours and patterns of their fur, so you are sure to find the perfect puppy or kitten just for you. Interact with your puppy or kitten by patting them, calling them over or just looking into their lifelike eyes. There is even an augmented reality component where you can place your puppy or kitten in your hand and take a photo of them with the Nintendo 3DS Camera!

Also available from 31 March will be Super Street Fighter IV 3D Edition – thrilling Super Street Fighter IV battles in the palm of your hand! Enjoy Super Street Fighter lV battles on the go with a total of 35 different characters! Play against friends nearby or take on people from all over the world! Use the Touch Screen to pull off special moves with ease or keep it classic with button controls. The new 3D Versus and Figure Collection modes give you even more ways to play!

Following the launch of Nintendo 3DS, there will be a range of Nintendo 3DS titles available throughout 2011. Pilotwings Resort™ and Steel Diver™ are the next two Nintendo 3DS titles due for release with dates still to be confirmed.

Pilotwings Resort allows you to play as your Mii™ character on Wuhu Island – the main location of Wii Sports™ Resort as you experience aerial sports in 3D! Steel Diver allows you to control a submarine to fight 3D naval battles, as you expertly control your depth and speed as you move through water, avoiding enemy depth charges.
