Darkspore, a new breed of online action-RPG, is coming to PCs in Australia on 31 March 2011, and New Zealand on 1 April 2011. Today we’re releasing a new Hero Spotlight Video showcasing the abilities of the Gravitic War Master, Andromeda, a Tempest Class hero and one of the more than 25 characters that gamers will be able to customise.
This new video details the variety of devastating attack options in Andromeda’s arsenal. Force Pulse is a ranged attack that knocks an enemy back several feet. The attack requires a recharge time, so must be used strategically. Andromeda’s special ability – Gravity Storm – flings enemies into the air and immobilises them before slamming them to the ground, doing a significant amount of damage. This ability is especially useful in co-operative multiplayer, as friends can attack enemies immobilised by Gravity Storm. Time Bubble, which selectively distorts time and slows both enemies and projectiles, and Repulsion Sphere, which redirects enemy blasts, are two additional abilities Andromeda wields.
