Impulse Gamer Australia have received some amazing new screenshots, courtesy of UbiSoft of the upcoming “rebirth” of the Tomb Raider series. Just out of the academy, a 21-year old Croft journeys to a mysterious island off the coast of Japan aboard the ship Endurance. Unfortunately for Croft, the ship is wrecked by an unforgiving storm that leaves Croft battered, alone and scared. In this open world action adventure game, players must control Lara Croft in her first adventure ever that will see her become the Tomb Raider. Tomb Raider is easily one of the most anticipated games of 2011 and from these screenshots, it’s understandable.
