Season 2 takes time to delve more deeply into each character with more personal issues being explored.  A building theme during the season, the truth behind why the Ancients launched Destiny is revealed. We also see Rodney McKay (David Hewlett) and Richard Woolsey (Robert Picado) from Stargate Atlantis put in an appearance, as does recurring scientist Dr. Lee (Bill Dow).
