oday, publisher Mindscape and developers Aesir Interactive and Sleeprunner Studios have released the remastered version of Windstorm: Start of a Great Friendship, the beloved game based on the successful Windstorm movies and bestselling books.
In Windstorm: Start of a Great Friendship – Remastered, both fans and new players can experience stunning new graphics and enhanced animations created in Unreal Engine 5, as well as a new photo mode to capture the Alpine region in all its beauty, while rediscovering Windstorm on PlayStation 5, PC and for the first time, on Xbox Series.

In Windstorm: Start of a Great Friendship – Remastered, players follow the story of Mika, a young girl with a special connection to a majestic black stallion named Windstorm. Mika has to learn how to interact with Windstorm and make sure he is happy and healthy, while also keeping up with his training. Players can take care of their new friend by grooming him, keeping his stable clean and playing with him. Windstorm will join players on adventures through the expansive alpine region, where they will discover hidden secrets and freely explore the breathtaking world on horseback. Prepare to ride alongside other horses, look for hidden objects and become the next racing champion!

Windstorm: Start of a Great Friendship – Remastered is now available for 24,99 € for PlayStation 5, Steam and, for the first time ever for Windstorm games, on Xbox Series. The retail version for PlayStation 5 will follow later this year.
