THE EXCORCISM – which releases in cinemas nationally on June 13 through Rialto Distribution – tells the chilling story of a once-famous actor (Russell Crowe) whose star has dimmed due to past struggles with addiction. Now clean and sober, he hopes to resurrect his career when he’s cast in the lead role of a new supernatural horror film, as a priest who must perform an exorcism. But under the pressure of trying to deliver a great performance, his life starts to unravel as he appears to succumb to his old demons…or is there something more sinister at play?
