They say the third time is the charm, but based on the wonderful feedback and growing attendance for The Game Expo (TGX) in 2024, TGX has always had charm!
Returning to Melbourne Convention and Exhibition Centre on March 22-23, 2025, The Game Expo is set to bring all of the cosy, fun gaming vibes over 10,000 fans enjoyed in its second year. With more fun from your favourite gaming communities, creators, and both casual and competitive activities across video gaming and tabletop gaming, Bitbot, the TGX mascot, invites everyone back for another great show.

The growth of the event, which in 2024 saw the addition of superb special guests, more incredible indies, and creativity everywhere from artists to musicians, cosplayers, and the inspiring play of the fantastic competitors, is down to the amazing community that has grown around The Game Expo. The expansion of the indie zone for both video games and tabletop was a brilliant part of 2024 – we can’t wait to see who will be the People’s Choice in 2025!
At TGX we celebrate Gaming Culture – defined by the three Cs – Creativity, Community and Competition – we welcome all players to come and find their tribe.
