The OPPO A80 Brings Superior Durability and AI-Enhancements to the A Series
Leading smart technology brand, OPPO Australia, has today announced the launch of the OPPO A80, its latest entry-level handset, retailing at $369. Built to provide all-round endurance and longevity within a stunning design, the new A series smartphone features a 360° Damage-Proof Armour Body for impact resistance, a 120Hz Ultra Bright Display, AI LinkBoost, AI Eraser, and a large 5,100mAh Hyper-Energy Battery with 45W SUPERVOOC™ Flash Charge.
Since its launch in 2008, the OPPO A Series has garnered the loyalty of 700 million users globally. Today, OPPO officially announces the All-Round Durable Champion, the A80, bringing OPPO’s self-developed generative AI technology and elevated durability to the series.

AI Features Make A Series Debut
The OPPO A80 elevates using experience on the A series to new heights through the power of AI. OPPO’s proprietary AI LinkBoost uses a system-level AI model to ensure stable connections in any location. With this, users can enjoy seamless connections when gaming or watching online videos even in areas with weak signal or busy networks.
OPPO’s AI Eraser has also been introduced to the A series for the first time. Using the power of OPPO’s generative AI model, AI Eraser can identify and remove unwanted people or objects from images and seamlessly fill in the gaps to create a flawless shot without any traces of editing.

The OPPO A80’s 360° Damage-Proof Armour Body features a new reinforced internal structure and a suite of drop-resistant materials like Panda Glass (twice-reinforced) for the screen cover that ensure the phone can withstand most everyday drops and impacts.
