Steam Deck: G’Day, Australia!

Valve (Steam, Steam Deck, Half-Life, CS2) is excited to announce that Steam Deck will begin shipping to Australia in November 2024 (that’s next month!)
We announced Steam Deck, a powerful hand-held gaming PC, in fall of 2021 and began shipping it the following March to North America, Europe, and (via KOMODO) to Japan, Hong Kong, South Korea, and Taiwan.
Friday, in a special countdown video played for gamers awaiting the doors opening to PAX Australia, we will announce that we’re finally able to add Australia to the regions Steam Deck will ship directly via Steam. In celebration, we have a booth set up on the PAX floor where gamers can swing by during the event and demo Steam Decks for themselves!
We’ve been working on bringing Steam Deck to Australia for a while. It took a bit more time than we expected, and we’re pleased that we can finally make this announcement.
These models will be available at the following prices (all prices inclusive of GST):
- 256GB LCD: $649.00 AUD
- 512GB OLED: $899.00 AUD
- 1TB OLED: $1049.00 AUD
