Although this amazing collectible from Hasbro was released last year (2023), we’re checking out the Star Wars The Black Series: Bo-Katan Kryze Premium Electronic Helmet to celebrate the release of the Sabine Wren (Ahsoka) helmet later this month. Also, the Bo-Katan Kryze Premium Electronic Helmet is nothing short of level 100 Awesomeness!
For the uninitiated or those living in a hut on Dagobah, Hasbro have some high-end Black Series merchandise that include fully wearable helmets and lifesize lightsabers which are all movie quality (or TV) replicas. They are nothing short of impressive! So, if you’re a fan of Star Wars The Clone Wars or The Mandalorian, this helmet is for you.

Made famous by actress Katee Sackhoff who not only plays Bo-Katan Krzye in the live action series of The Mandalorian but she also voiced the character way back in 2012, her character is nothing short of awesomeness. Best of all, this collectible from Hasbro is identical to the one she wore in The Mandalorian which in the series is a Nite Owl helmet that was worn by female Mandalorian warriors.

As a fun fact, Bo-Katan is from nobility and is a member of the Death Watch (The Clone Wars) who wants to restore the ancient warrior ways of Mandalore. She is also the sister of Duchess Satine Kryze, the pacifist ruler of Mandalore, from whom she is estranged due to differences in their politics.
As we follow her story, she eventually allies herself with former Jedi Ahsoka Tano and the Galactic Republic to help liberate Mandalore from Darth Maul. After liberating the planet, Bo-Katan is declared the planet’s new ruler. Many years later, after the Great Purge of Mandalore, Bo-Katan is on the hunt for Moff Gideon in order to retrieve the Darksaber that will once again make her ruler and also help retake her homeworld (see The Mandalorian) from the Imperial remnants.

The Star Wars The Black Series: Bo-Katan Kryze Premium Electronic Helmet is truly an affordably priced work of collectible art. Not only is it faithfully recreated from the helmet worn by Katee Sackhoff from The Mandalorian but it features a flip-down rangefinder with authentic flashing LED lights and even an illuminated heads-up display (HUD) to help immersive you into the role of Bo-Katan Kryze.

The Star Wars The Black Series: Bo-Katan Kryze Premium Electronic Helmet is a must have for fans of either Bo-Katan or just Star Wars in general. It is a perfectly crafted helmet and doesn’t feel cheap but rather a quality build with an excellent paint job. Just be warned that when you’re wearing it, it doesn’t come with the futuristic Star Wars tech so your vision is limited but nonetheless, it is perfect for both cosplayers and collectors!
