Sid Meier’s Civilization VII showcasing at PAX AUS with exclusive dev panel and meet-and-greet

Today, 2K and Firaxis Games revealed that Sid Meier’s Civilization® VII will be showcasing at PAX AUS with a special developer panel and meet-and-greet on Friday 11th October.

Hosted at Quokka Theatre from 11am – 12pm, the panel will feature four key developers at Firaxis Games who will offer a deep-dive into the creative processes behind building Civilization VII as the highly-anticipated next entry for the beloved franchise.

Speakers:

  • Andrew Frederiksen – Lead Producer
  • Ryan Andrade – Lead Concept Artist
  • John Fitzgerald – Lead Unit Artist
  • Matthew Quickel – Senior Lead Environment Artist

For those who won’t be at PAX AUS, the panel will be live-streamed to Firaxis Games’ Twitch and accessible via 2K and PAX AUS’ social channels.

Following the panel, 2K and Firaxis Games will be hosting a public meet-and-greet at 3:30pm – 4:30pm on Friday 11th October in Room 218, Lvl 2 of the Convention Centre. All Civ fans are welcome to stop by!

Sid Meier’s Civilization® VII is a revolutionary new chapter in the epic strategy video game franchise, launching on February 11, 2025 on PlayStation®5 (PS5®), PlayStation®4 (PS4®), Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, Nintendo™ Switch, PC via Steam and Epic Games Store, and Mac and Linux via Steam.
